As an original member of Tru, Ed had been down with the Tank since Day 1. After releasing his one and done sleeper “The Assassin”, the Richmond MC would depart the label in 2000. His second album, “Special Forces,” was released under his own label of the same name later that year. Sadly, this would be Ed’s final project while alive, as he passed away in 2001 from lymphoma cancer. A posthumous project was released the following month. Rest in Peace to Big Ed.
